Nap Earrings Insertion Tool

Nap Earrings Insertion Tool - Main image
$6 $12 In stock

Category: Accessories

Flat back earrings are great for comfortable 24/7 wear— but they can be trickier to insert than traditional earrings. This tool is designed to make the process easier, quicker, and far less frustrating.

The sleek, no poke-tip guides the post cleanly through your piercing, making it ideal for anyone with longer nails or unsteady fingers. The long stem on the tool is especially helpful for hard-to-access piercings.

Instructions

1. Prepare the Tool and Nap Earrings
Clean your Insertion Tool, Nap Earrings and piercing carefully with soap and warm water. If your Nap Earring needs a bend, gently pinch the jewel head and flat backing together between your index finger and thumb. The bend is totally normal and necessary to keep your earrings in place.

2. Insert the Tool into Your Piercing
Gently slide the Insertion Tool (the thinnest part) through the front of your piercing and all the way through.

3. Insert Nap Earring Backing On
Pull (no need to twist) apart your Nap Earring and place your Nap Earring Backing onto the back of the Insertion Tool (the thinnest part). Make sure it's secure by keeping a finger pressed on the backing.

4. Pull your Flat Back Stud Through the Piercing
Gently pull the Insertion Tool through the piercing until the Nap Earring Backing reaches through the front of your ear. We recommend one finger remain on the Backing to help you push.

5. Secure Nap Earring Front onto the Backing
Push in on the front of Nap Earring all the way where you may feel or hear a “click” but they don't "click" into place, but the tension of the bent post inside the backing tube keeps them secure.

The little notch that holds the earring post in place finally makes one-handed insertion possible, which is a game changer for my second-hole piercings. It took me maybe two tries to get the hang of it, and now I can swap my flat backs in under a minute instead of wrestling with them for five. This

I used to dread changing my flat back earrings, but this tool's little gripper holds the back securely so I can actually screw the front on without dropping anything. It saved me at least five minutes of fumbling this morning.

Finally, no more wrestling with slippery backs—the grip on this insertion tool holds the flat back securely so I can actually line it up in one try. It’s saved me at least five minutes per earring.
